In addition to the bi-yearly City of Sydney grants (at the bottom of this email), the NSW government has announced - just in time for the election - a number of grants around the night time economy. 

Time is short, which means less people will probably apply so you should go for it if you have an idea.

Music Now grants

Up to $40,000 – open now and closes on 14 March.

Funding available for one-off, series or annual program of live music events held in NSW.

 

Activate Sydney@Night grants

Up to $100,000 per application – open now and closes 28 February.

Funding available for one-off unique ideas that encourage a vibrant night-time-economy in the seven key precincts of Darlinghurst, Haymarket and George Street, Opera House to Walsh Bay, Pyrmont and Newtown.

Register your events and leverage the NSW Government’s communication channels to promote your business and programmed activities

City of Sydney Council 

business support grants

Open now and closes at 5pm on 11 March.

Book your individual information session with City staff being held on 20th and 25th February.

Night Time Diversification

Matched funding up to $30,000

Our night-time diversification grant supports the programming of new activities to help your business attract customers at night.

Live music and performance

Matched funding up to $30,000

Our live music grants and performance grants provide support for capital investment to introduce or improve related performance programming.

 Place and industry

Our place and industry grants seek to promote local neighbourhoods, connect business to opportunities, grow business skills and knowledge and help business to effectively advocate on key issues.
